This antique Swedish Mora clock dates from the 19th century and is hand-painted with delicate floral motifs across a carved wooden case — a hallmark of the Dalarna folk-art tradition. The case stands 220cm (86.6") tall, with a working longcase movement: pendulum, two weights, and a bell chime that sounds on the hour. As with all original Mora clocks, no two are exactly alike; the carving and brushwork on this piece were done entirely by hand.
